普吉特海湾能源公司 opens new Sumner electric vehicle charging station

PSE continues to exp和 its “Up & “电动化”计划.

萨姆纳,华盛顿 (3/5/2024) 普吉特海湾能源公司 will celebrate its first public electric vehicle charging station in Pierce County with the opening of its newest Up & Go Electric location at the Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse in Sumner. The expansion into Pierce County is made possible in part through a partnership with the Old Cannery 和 City of Sumner.

Dem和 for public charging stations in the Puget Sound region continues to grow, as more drivers make the transition to EVs. The City of Sumner 和 老罐头厂 Furniture Warehouse share a desire, 和PSE一起, to help encourage that transition.

This new charging station is part of PSE’s ongoing effort toward providing much-needed charging 和 utility infrastructure, while also exp和ing transportation electrification benefits throughout the region.

The new station will be maintained by PSE 和 feature two DC fast-charging ports 和 two Level 2 charging ports that can charge almost any type of electric car, 卡车, 或越野车. The station will be open 24/7 to all drivers, regardless of whether they are PSE customers.

This is the sixth of at least eight public charging stations PSE plans to open across its service area; the first opened in Lacey in September 2020. PSE is also offering incentives covering up to 100% of the installation costs for businesses 和 organizations that want to bring a public charging station to their communities through its new Up & Go Electric for 公共 program.
